Xoft
Electronic Brachytherapy System
Precision therapy.
Personalized care.
We are passionate about targeted cancer care expertly tailored to meet patients’ personalized needs.
It is carefully designed the Elekta Xoft® Axxent® Electronic Brachytherapy (eBx®) System® to empower physicians with full confidence to precisely and effectively treat cancer and enable patients to live healthy, high-quality lives.
The versatile Xoft® Axxent® Electronic Brachytherapy (eBx®) System® utilizes breakthrough electronic brachytherapy technology to provide expanded treatment options for a range of cancers. With Elekta Xoft, highly focused therapeutic radiation of the disease target is possible in a minimally shielded setting, while sparing surrounding healthy tissue.
Elekta Xoft may not be available in all markets. The Xoft technology is supported by a growing body of evidence for the treatment of early-stage breast cancer, non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), gynecological cancers, and brain cancers. Emerging applications include colorectal, prostate, and pancreatic cancers. Our commitment to clinical excellence using this innovative technology is driven by the numerous, valuable benefits that it offers to patients, physicians, and health care institutions.

ImagingRing
Dynamic imaging around your patient
Image acquisition whenever needed
ImagingRing is an advanced, mobile CT scanner designed specifically for use in Elekta Studio, giving you access to high quality, in-room imaging whenever you need it.
Uncompromised image quality
The ability of ImagingRing to perform rapid in-room imaging at the time of treatment allows brachytherapy plans to be adapted quickly to each patient’s current anatomy.
It’s a perfect result if high-quality imaging for brachytherapy can come to the patient and radiation oncologist, instead of the other way around.
Professor Vratislav Strnad, MD
Head of Interventional Radiation Oncology at University Hospital Erlangen, Germany
Ensuring patient comfort
ImagingRing means that you no longer need to move patients on and off the treatment table or from room to room

Geneva Universal Gynecological Applicator
Modular design without compromise, Geneva provides brachytherapy for cervical cancer treatment
For all centers providing Gynecological brachytherapy treatment
Easy to use, Geneva is an adaptable solution that optimizes accuracy
Brachytherapy is used widely alongside external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) and chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with locally advanced cervical cancer.
Geneva applicator permits the reproducible application of high dose rate brachytherapy for both definitive and adjuvant cervical cancer treatment.
Brachytherapy radiation treatment with Geneva is significantly more effective and precise than external beam radiation therapy alone.
Geneva represents a straightforward and affordable yet robust brachytherapy applicator designed to be suitable for use for most cervical cancer patients up to stage IIB.

Oncentra Brachy
Advanced brachy planning made easy
Interstitial brachytherapy
This form of brachytherapy involves the surgical placement of the radioactive source into or near the cancer tumor, for example in the treatment of prostate cancer.
Oncentra Brachy intelligent workflow tools
Accelerate your workflow and optimize treatment plan accuracy
Gain time to focus on designing optimal dose distribution
Intracavitary brachytherapy
Intracavity brachytherapy involves the placement of the radioactive source into a natural body cavity.
Preparing for the future
With Advanced Collapsed cone Engine (ACE) we are a step closer to clinical reality – Brachytherapy radiation dose calculation algorithm based on TG-186
AAPM workgroup 2012
Discriminate tissue from air and bone
Account for tissue heterogeneities, lack of backscatter from non-tissue areas, applicator attenuation and shielding
Make informed treatment decisions through better insight on actual dose distribution
